Affirmations for Intentionality and Grace. ✨

Monday again? 😳

How do you start your Monday’s?

Monday's can set the tone for the week. It is an extra day after Sunday to kind of get it together for the week. Every monday, I try to share affirmations across my socials. This week, I will be sharing affirmations for intentionality and grace. I realized that I have been spending so much time in my life trying to meet other people's expectations or even my own unrealistic expectations. I am working daily to be intentional in the things that I do, and to give grace to myself and others along the way.

How do you start your day?

For me, I enjoy quiet time reading a morning devotional and prayer or meditation. I have been reading Marshawn Evans Daniels' "Believing Bigger" and have seen my mindset and honestly my life shift, make sure to grab the devotional over on amazon here.

I am surrounded by people that push me to become better.

I have been in a new group chat with my mommy and my new sister Najma, which we named "Faith Talks." In the group, we not only discuss our faith, we discuss and share our thoughts, our dreams, our fears, and we share the word with one another, which has been powerful. I am using positive self-talk.

I also like to speak kind things to myself by reciting affirmations, bonus points for reciting them in the mirror. A practice that has been helpful for me, is sharing these affirmations with you all weekly. It allows for me to set intentions, but also leaves room for grace and dreaming. I am also publicly declaring these things, so I can make it real, so I can believe it, and so I can see real changes in my life.

I am creating the life of my dreams.

I am committed to doing my best.

After all those things, I can begin to check emails briefly, get dressed for the day, which sometimes means switching from my sleeping t-shirt to my class t-shirt, and that's ok. #grace I spend some time thinking of priority items on my list, like finishing up readings for class, or any meetings or trainings I may have in between or after classes, and then anything I need for myself like groceries, fresh air, a change of scenery, food, a nap. I try and generally plan out my day, but I am being intentional about leaving room for changes and disruptions, like wifi and tech issues, or pms! 😅

I trust the process.

I am choosing myself daily.

I am intentional about how I use my time.

I am speaking up and out, daily.

I am setting boundaries in my personal and professional life.

I am committed to doing things that bring me joy.

I am surrounded by people that push me to become better.

I am actively exploring new ways of thinking.

Fear and doubt do not live here.

I am proud of myself.

I am using positive self-talk.

I am intentional about resting.

I am committed to doing my best.

I am releasing perfectionism.

I will not compare my journey.

I am operating with audacity.

I am creating new normals for myself.

I am creating the life of my dreams.

I am believing bigger for my life.
